Putnam County Board of Commissioners issued two proclamations Tuesday afternoon at Gatewood Schools, recognizing the 2018 Clay Target Team and the 2018 Gators Varsity Football Team for winning state championship titles. The clay target team earned the title for the fifth consecutive year. The football championship was the third in the school’s history. “The citizens of Putnam County are proud of the team’s performance and the way in which they have represented your school and our county,” states the proclamations.
