We want to make The Artisans Village a reality. Our dream is to renovate two wonderful historic cotton warehouses in downtown Eatonton and make them into studio space for working artists. The public will be able to watch artisans at work and also purchase the creations in a retail outlet. One warehouse will be for the “hot” arts, glass blowers, potters, furniture makers and so on. The other warehouse will house painters, jewelry makers and other “cleaner” arts. Thanks to many generous donations from local campaigns, we now own the buildings. We need funds from this campaign to keep the buildings maintained but also to position us for a larger grant to be able to start renovations. Please help us make this happen!

The Artisans Village in downtown Eatonton needs your help to raise $3000 by May 11th via the “crowdrise” platform. These funds will support our ongoing efforts to promote the arts and will make us eligible for a large grant ( up to $100,000!) from USA Today’s “A Community Thrives” program. Please use the link below or go to crowdrise.com and search for The Artisans Village to learn more about our cause and to donate. And PLEASE send on to your friends, post on Facebook and/or Twitter.
